How much does a women worry about white hair? A lot, it seems from a survey conducted, it became clear that 47 percent of Indian women identify white hair as one of their biggest concerns.

Our hair figure out our total appearing in a major way. Having long, black, thick and shiny hair is every girl dream. In fact, in present story line, because of unhealthy diet and high levels of stress, the production of melanin by our hair roots slow down, as a result hair loses color and begins to turn white.

First best solution to get rid of white hair is maintaining a healthy diet and cultivating healthy lifestyle. Let us have a look on some homemade remedies to get rid of white hair.

 

Ø AMLA:

Amla, also known as Indian gooseberry is intensely powerful to keep an end to white hair and also for thinning of hair. It can do wonders for your hair. Make a paste out of amla and mix it with lemon juice and apply on white hair. This really works well and changes white hair into black again. You can also try this out; take some dried amla and soak them in water and leave it for the whole night. Next day morning strain the liquid. After washing your hair with shampoo rinse your hair with this liquid and again rinse off with normal water. At least twice a week massage your hair with amla oil to blacken your hair naturally.

 

Ø CARROT:

It is absolutely true, carrot juice is a wonder food for your hair. Carrots encourage hair growth. The only thing you have to do with carrot is make fresh juice and drink a glass of fresh juice in the morning on daily basis. Adding carrot juice to your diet will do much more for you than taking plenty of supplement tablets.

Ø CURRY LEAVES:

Curry leaves are best friend for your hair. Curry leaves repair damaged roots. Take two handfuls of curry leaves and paste them. Now apply the paste directly on your scalp. Let it dry for 30 minutes and then rinse off your hair. You can also take some fresh curry leaves and boil them with coconut oil. After some time you your scalp and wait for one hour and then wash your hair with mild shampoo. This is the best way to prevent the greying of hair.

 

Ø FENUGREEK SEEDS:

It is a grandmother’s tip. Fenugreek seed has a long history of treating several health problems. These seeds help to prevent premature greying of hair. Take one handful of fenugreek seeds and boil them with some coconut oil. Boil them for few minutes and let them cool and keep it aside for 2 hours. Then apply the oil on your scalp and hair. Massage your scalp for 10 minutes. Applying oil to your scalp and hair should be done before going to bed. Then next day morning wash your hair with your shampoo. This will help you from preventing premature greying of hair.

 

Ø SESAME SEED:

Sesame seeds are rich in magnesium and calcium which are essential in promoting good health of scalp. Take handful of sesame seeds and mix them with olive oil or almond oil and warm oil for few minutes. Now apply the warm oil on your scalp and gently massage for 10 minutes. Then cover your hair with warm towel and leave it for one hour. After one hour rinse off your hair with mild shampoo. You have to repeat this process at least twice a week for best result.

 

Ø ONION:

Onions are rich in sulfur which is one of the most important mineral for our hair. It improves blood circulation to our scalp. Onions also have an anti-bacterial property that fights with scalp infections. Take one onion and peel it off and then blend into a fine loose paste or juice. Now apply the juice of onion to your scalp and wait for 15 minutes and then wash off your hair with your shampoo.

 

Ø LEMON JUICE;

People with poor hair growth and have many problems like hair loss, white hair and don’t know how to take care and control your own hair then for such people lemon is the right choice. Limonene is a compound that is present in lemons which gives your hair shine and prevents from greying of hair. Take a lemon and cut into two halves and rub over your scalp directly. Rubbing of lemon on your scalp make the hair roots stronger better than before. You can also mix lemon juice with cocnut oil and apply on your scalp and massage with your fingertips for few minutes then rinse off with mild shampoo.

 

Ø ALOE VERA:

Yes, it is a miracle plant and does miracles when applied to your hair. Aloe Vera cleans, protects and nourishes your hair from damaging. Regular use of this aloe Vera makes your hair healthy. Apply aloe Vera gel on your scalp and massage with your fingertips and wait for 30 minutes and then rinse off with a mild shampoo. Do this twice a week for best results.

 

Ø GINGER:

Remember ginger is not only beneficial for your health but it is also beneficial for your hair too. Take a table spoon of grated ginger in a bowl. Now mix them well, and apply this on your scalp and massage well with the help of your fingertips and leave it for 30 minutes. Then wash off your hair with your shampoo.

 

TIPS:

·        It is best to avoid excess stress both for your health and for your hair.

·        Prefer to choose homemade remedies to tackle the problems of white hair, instead of using chemical based products.

·        Try to maintain a well-balanced diet. It regulates your health of your body including your hair.

·        Try to reduce certain fluids like tea, coffee which increases  appearance of white hair.
