Makeup Tips for Asian Women:

Makeup Tips for Asian Women:

Different makeup styles suit different women, as every women have their own unique traits and that depends upon her ethnicity. Especially, Asian women have flawless butter smooth skin and lovely facial features.  Here I will show you makeup tips that suits Asian women and will promise you that you will look more gorgeous. Follow these steps for the righteous way to do makeup:

Using a skin tone corrector:

If you are having uneven skin tone as a result of freckles, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring or age spots, you need to use a skin tone corrector to treat your whole face that helps to even your skin tone.

Finding the right foundation:

Yellow based foundations are always recommended for Asian skin tones as it even outs the blemishes present and settles down like a second skin. Yellow based foundations always look the most natural.

Blush:

When you are done with applying the foundation, you can now give the blush to your face. When selecting the blush ensure that it is not very contrasting to your skin one. You can pick a rose pink shade if you are having fair skin tone and opt for a subtle shade of pink for dusky complexion and copper brown shade for dark skin tone

Eyeliner

Where ever you find Asian women, their eyes reminds us of the pretty dolls. To make those pretty eyes more beautiful remember to line the upper lids and if you want line the bottom lids make sure it is soft and smudged well. If you line inside your rim, it makes your eyes look smaller. Ensure that the liner is visible when you open your eyes, if they aren’t visible then make the line thicker.

Eyeshadow:

It is advised to choose several shades of eyeshadows to layer and blend on the lids up to the crease. Do not draw darker line at the crease, this makes it look fake. I suggest you to experiment with different colours, however blue, green and even purples suits everyone in common. When applying the eye shadows, use the layering technique. Start with light base colour, on the lid top with a medium colour, and then apply deeper colour on the lid to build onto this. It is very important to blend so that the eye makeup does not look harsh.

Eyelashes:

You can make your eye lashes look awesome with the application of mascara. First use an eye lash curler to get the curly look in the eyelashes and make sure that you use a non-clumping mascara. If you are having tiny eye lashes then back them up with false eyelashes and this will add a little more cuteness to your face.

Eyebrows:

It is the eyebrows that makes or breaks the look. Make it a habit to keep your eyebrows groomed and neat regularly.  Fill in the sparse eye brows. Use a special eye brow brush and a dark brown powder for this purpose, make sure that you don’t use black powder as it looks too harsh.

Lip colour

Selecting the right lip colour is very important. You need to select a lip colour that does not clash with your skin tone. If you have applied heavy eye makeup, then let the lips be nude. If you are having thin lips and would like to plump up those thin lips, then use a light colour lip stick and top it up with a lip gloss. Apply small amounts of highlighter in the centre of the lips. This will plum up the thin lips. Note that dark lip sticks will make your lips look thinner and narrower, so to slim down your lips you need to use the darker shades.

These are the general makeup tips every Asian women can follow to look more gorgeous. Apart from these look into the below questions for specific makeup tips:

1) How to make your nose look thinner?
If you are having bigger nose, it is important that you use a foundation that is 2 shades darker that the one you typically use. 2) How to make your cheek bones stand out:
Use darker shades to the hollow and to the top of the cheek bone apply the highlighter. This will surely make your cheek bones stand out.
