 YOGA POSES FOR GLOWING SKIN

We do use many beauty products to maintain glow in our skin. Many of us spend huge amount on various expensive cosmetics to manage and keep the glow on our skin for many years. You know, we can maintain a healthy glowing skin for many years without using any beauty product. Beauty always comes from within, if you are healthy inside, then definitely you will be glowing from outside. Practicing some yoga poses regularly one can achieve beautiful healthy glowing skin. Let us discuss about some of the yoga poses which helps to maintain your skin look younger and glowing.

 

Yoga poses for glowing skin:

1)   Yoni mudhra:


This is how you do it:


a) Sit cross legged in the easy pose i.e. sukhasana.
b) Now close your eye lashes with the index fingers and place your thumb finger on your ears.
c) Put your middle finger on the nostrils. The ring fingers should be placed above your upper lips and the little fingers bellows your lower lips.
d) Your elbows should be parallel to the ground.
e) Stay in this yoga pose for 10 minutes and make sure that you concentrate on your breath. You need not apply pressure with your fingers; just place your fingers on your face.

2)   Kapalbhati:


a) Keep your spine straight and palms on your knees facing downwards.
b) Now exhale through your nose while you pull your stomach inwards towards the spine. You will automatically breathe in when you loosen your stomach muscles.
c) Now exhale again but quickly contract your stomach muscles.
d) The pushing out of air and pulling in the air should be done by your stomach muscles. Do this for about 50 times initially and later with practice you can increase the count depending upon your comfort.
e) Note that it is normal to feel soreness around your stomach muscles and abdomen.

3)   Yog mudhra:


Yog mudhra is popularly known as the yoga pose. This is how you need to do it: 


a) First sit in sukhasana.
b) Now with your right hand hold your left wrist at the back.
c) Pull your shoulders behind and inhale while you expand your chest.
d) Now bend forward while you exhale the air and touch your right knee with your forehead.
e) Return to your starting position while inhaling the air.
f) Repeat the steps by touching your forehead to the left knee and then at the middle simultaneously.
g) Do the yog mudhra daily with two rounds of repetition for naturally glowing skin.

4)   Standing Chakrasana(the wheel pose):


a) Stand straight with your feet apart and parallel; in the front interlock your hands.
b) Bend backwards while inhaling and raise your hands up.
c) While exhaling bend forward and swing your arms behind and then again Interlock the fingers at your back and pull them towards your head.
d) Return to the starting position while you inhale the air.
e) Do this standing chakrasana in 3 rounds of repetitions.

5)   Paschimattonasana:


a) Sit on the floor and stretch your legs to your front while you inhale the air.
b) Make sure that you don’t bend your knees and keep them firm and straight while doing the asana.
c) Now exhale the air bending forward and hold your toes trying to touch your forehead with the knees.
d) Hold this position for 10 seconds.
e) Return to the starting position while inhaling the air.
f) Do this asana in 3 rounds of repetition.

6)   Dhanurvakrasana:


This is fairly easy asana to do. This how you need to do it: 


a) Lie down on your stomach and legs stretched out while your arms are by your side.
b) Now bend your legs and catch the ankles with your hands. Simultaneously, pull your ankles and then raise your legs.
c) Raise your neck and head upward wile inhaling the air and hold in this position for few seconds.
d) Return to the starting position while exhaling the air.
e) You can do this in 3 rounds of repetition
