STEP 1:

Take a nail polish remover and remove any left-over polish on your nails. Now take a big bucket or tub and add 2 tablespoons of jojoba oil and 2 drops of chamomile, eucalyptus essential oils. Now soak your feet in this mix and just relax. Try to soak your feet for at least 40-45 minutes and enjoy the foot soak.

STEP 2:

Clean your feet by placing your feet on a towel and gently pat dry your feet. Now apply a drop of olive oil or cuticle softener on each nail at the root. This will help your cuticles to get soft, so that you can easily push them back or cut them.

STEP 3:

As you already soaked your feet in water for more than enough and this made your nails considerably soft so that you can cut them easily. Now it is the time to shape your nails using a file. Remember not to cut your nails too short and also don’t forget to file your nails only in one direction.

 STEP 4:

The olive oil or cuticle softener which you had applied before has been there for more than 10 minutes. Now it’s time to look after your cuticles. Take a tissue or cotton ball and clean the bases of the cuticle. It is advised to push back your cuticles rather than cutting them. With the help of a cuticle pusher gently push back your cuticles

STEP 5:

The next step after pushing your cuticles back is exfoliating your feet using a pumice stone and scrub away all the dead skin. You can see more dead skin on your heel, there you can use little more pressure to scrub away the dead skin. You can also gently scrub your nails, by taking an old brush or a nail scrubber. The bristles will clean the surface of the nails.

STEP 6:

After scrubbing your feet apply a foot cream or foot oil and gently massage the feet. Take one foot in your lap and give yourself a pressure massage starting from your big toe and ending at your heel. Repeat with other feet. If you can ask somebody else help to massage your feet, then you can just relax and enjoy the experience.

STEP 7:

It’s time for your favorite part. Now take your favorite nail paint and then apply on your nails. First apply a base coat and let it dry for 2 minutes and then apply another coat to intensify the color.
